Overview
Prime Alphas are natural variations to dinos on the Ark. They are stronger than their counter-part and even their alpha counter-part. They cannot be tamed, and spawn only at level 600. There are currently 23 different kinds of prime alphas. They also have glowing eyes and are surrounded in a red glow so they are easy to spot. They are also the best way of gathering Black Pearls

Combat
Every prime alpha has a similar effect as the Gigantosaurus, which deals a percentage of your health over a few seconds. To add on to this, they also deal damage back to you when you hit them and most have a heavier knockback than their Alpha Counterpart.
Some of the easiest ways to deal with Prime Alphas are Drakes/Wyverns (which can deal Fire Damage at a distance) or to use a heavily upgraded herd of animals with large health and damage.
Drops
When killed, prime alphas will have items that you can acquire by accessing its inventory (although the animal dealing the killing blow may sometimes collect the items naturall). There is a chance that it will not drop anything at all. The following is a list of drops acquired from certain dinos. (Still needs to be completed)
